Best bets for a Staten Island Saturday: From jazz to a hike in the woods

Staten Island’s literary magazine, NYSAI, is releasing their winter issue with a party on Saturday at 8 p.m. at Deep Tanks, 150 Bay St. The issue, "Periscope," includes work from some of Staten Island’s most creatively intelligent minds. The party includes live poetry, art and music from artists including G.E.D., Lena, Enrico Arcaro, Julie Bentsen, Rebecca Charlotte, David DiLillo, Craig Kite, Wheeler Light, Magie Serpica, Brian Sheffield, Julia Simoniello, Yu Tao and more.

Magazines will be available for a $3 donation. Appetizers and snacks will be provided. There will also be a beer and wine bar. Admission is $5. The admission price includes 1 magazine + 1 drink ticket.
